Key Responsibilities :

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit.

Monitor patient status, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other critical indicators.

Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other treatments as ordered by physicians.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, providing appropriate interventions.

Document all nursing care accurately and thoroughly in patient records.

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

Maintain patient safety and provide emotional support to patients and families.

Qualifications :

Current RN license in the state of assignment (or compact nursing license if applicable).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.

BLS and ACLS certification required.

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
