Wind Hub Manager

As a Wind Hub Manager, you will be responsible for safely operating customer owned wind turbines within your assigned hub, including resources and logistics operations and maintenance activities. These activities contribute to maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. You will impact methods, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. You will also impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of your team. You will have significant input into priorities, goals, and objectives for your managed hub. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role, the role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment. Expected travel for this role is 50%. The Wind Hub Manager will oversee sites located near the Lubbock / Amarillo MSAs; Lubbock, Amarillo, or Plainview, TX are the preferred locations for this role. Sites to cover will include Mariah and Jumbo Road, near Amarillo, TX. This hub is set to expand to include Lazbuddie, closer to Lubbock, TX, in 2026. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Wind Hub Manager, you will :

• Be responsible for field resource deployment planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics
• Interface with the contract performance managers on issue escalation
• Develop long range forecast for region resource needs
• Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and region business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training
• Develop specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice / quality resource.
• Maintain awareness of latest technical developments in own area, and contribute towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Have in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational / product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
• Employ new perspectives on existing solutions, use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations, and use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information; work to build consensus.
• Develop persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

The salary range for this position is 91,400.00 - 121,800.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
