Network Engineer

Hithium Tech USA has a new manufacturing facility in the Mesquite / Forney area, and we are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. This is a specialized position, and our ideal applicant has considerable experience and education in engineering, robotics, and production automation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based LAN / WAN infrastructure across manufacturing operations.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor and analyze network performance to ensure high availability and security.
• Support OT (Operational Technology) and IT network segmentation to maintain compliance and uptime in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with production and automation teams to integrate networking solutions into manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Perform regular network health checks, capacity planning, and upgrades.
• Respond to and resolve escalated network-related incidents with minimal downtime.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Assist in audits and compliance efforts related to ISO, NIST, or other standards.
