Opening Winter 2025, Inspired Learners Academy is a therapeutic day school built on the values of compassion, collaboration, and individualized support. As a sister program to Motivated Learners, our school is designed to serve students with diverse learning, communication, and behavioral needs through a team-based, relationship-centered approach.
Position Overview :
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our founding team. In this role, you will assess, develop, and implement individualized speech and language therapy for students ages 514 with communication, social, and language needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plansProvide direct therapy services in individual and small group formatsCollaborate closely with special education teachers, behavior therapists, and related service providersParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoringOffer support and training to staff on communication strategies and AAC when applicableQualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language PathologyIllinois SLP license and PEL (or eligible)ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferredExperience working in school or therapeutic settings preferredStrong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindsetWhy Join Inspired Learners Academy?
