Salary : 16.50 to 21.45
A. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION :
Provides direct supervision, support, and training to adults with disabilities receiving services from NVS.
B. PRIMARY SCHEDULE :
Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-3 : 30pm with a 30-minute on duty paid lunch. Days and hours may vary and include evenings, Holidays, and weekends, as needed.
C. SUPERVISION RECEIVED :
Works under the supervision of the Day Program Services Site Supervisor as directed by the Day Program Services Program Manager.
D. SUPERVISION EXERCISED :
Is responsible to supervise individuals with disabilities.
E. QUALIFICATIONS :
High School education or equivalent.
Current California drivers license, with an acceptable DMV printout and insurability, minimum of a 3-year driving history.
Ability to obtain a Commercial License with passenger endorsements within 6 months of hire date.
Ability to pass a DOJ criminal background check.
Ability to pass CPR and First Aid course.
Ability to be certified in all NVS intervention training including ProAct, Behavior Tools, PCM Practitioner Level 1 or 2 (dependent on location).
F. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Follows all procedures, policies, and guidelines of North Valley Services.
Provides direct supervision to clients and maintains daily assigned scheduled activities.
Participates in assigned client scheduled activities.
Collaborates and works efficiently with others.
Implements Individual Service Plans (ISP) (teaches skills and coping techniques).
Provides support to clients in nutritional cooking program and meal preparation.
