Our well-established practices are looking for a Full-Time or even part time Dental Hygienist to join our supportive clinical and administrative team members. Our practice draws patient population throughout state, which includes families that have been with us for generations. It is a great working environment with skilled and supportive doctors and staff, which provides opportunity for massive growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collect and document medical and dental histories from patients
- Evaluates overall oral health, examining for any signs & symptoms of disease.
- Chart dental conditions based on dentist’s observations and evaluations
- Follows through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist. Procedures may include Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planning, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatment, etc.
- Sterilize dental instruments and tools
- Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
- Take X-rays of patients’ teeth when necessary
- Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures
- Document lab procedures and ensures follow up on results
- Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments
REQUIREMENTS :
Must be a licensed Registered Dental HygienistActive CPR (BLS) CertificationAbility to prepare dental equipment and instrumentsExcellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, expertise in brushing and flossing techniquesFamiliarity with Dental softwareStrong communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rulesWe are proud to offer employees competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and a variety of benefits for those who qualify!
Office schedule : 8AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday.
