Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

The unit consists of 138 beds.

There are 6 full-time staff members on the unit.

Staffing includes 3 Registered Nurses and 3 Radiologic Technologists on day shift.

Patient ratios are not applicable.

The unit utilizes GE Innova and MacLab equipment.

The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include Left Heart Cath, PCI, Pacemakers, TEE, Stress Tests, and Loop Recorders.

Flexibility and teamwork are essential personality traits for candidates.

On-call duty is required, averaging 12-15 days per month.

Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with other employees.

Consideration for this role will be given to candidates with relevant skills and experience.

Unit policies and guidelines will be provided to successful candidates.
