Job descriptionMinimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Project Manager with a Commercial General Contractor. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam. Ability to read and interpret all contract documents, plans, specifications, and requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective collaboration with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude. Commitment to delivering superior customer service and professionalism. Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills, someone who thrives in a team environment and approaches challenges by gathering input, analyzing from multiple angles, and contributing to well-informed project solutions. Full-service contractor that completes over $500M in-place construction annually. We specialize in Construction Management, Design / Build, and General Contracting across private and public sectors in Illinois, Florida, and Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all job functions in accordance with the company’s culture, vision, and ethics.
- Represent the company in developing new business and strengthening client relationships.
- Collaborate and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with contract and design
- Manages budget and financial reporting throughout the project
- Updates schedule with support of superintendents and subcontractors
- Manages and helps enforce Safety on a daily basis
- Identify new project leads, prepare precise estimates, and maintain a healthy pipeline of work.
