Schedule & Compensation

  • Compensation : Based on experience
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week
  • Overtime : Paid after 40 hours
  • Position Summary

    Seeking a Mechanic with 5+ years of diesel truck maintenance experience to perform repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. This position offers stability, training, and a clear path for advancement within a growing organization.

    Essential Functions

  • Perform vehicle and equipment repairs to ensure safety and optimal performance.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, safety checks, and annual inspections per company protocol.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems efficiently and accurately.
  • Complete work orders properly, including accurate documentation of hours and parts used.
  • Evaluate completed work and consult with supervisor to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely and effective manner.
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • DOT medical card eligibility required.
  • Minimum 5 years diesel truck maintenance experience required.
  • Trade school and / or automotive training preferred.
  • CDL preferred but not required.
  • Forklift certification preferred but not required.
  • Work Environment

    Fast-paced outdoor and shop-based environment servicing heavy trucks, fleet vehicles, and pavement marking equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions, especially during seasonal peaks.
