We're building a product for developers that redefines the look, feel, and usability of observability tools — and we’re expanding our Sales team with an Solutions engineer that breathes B2D .
What You’ll Do :
Work with our account executives to plan, prepare and execute deals in complex and technical sales cycles.Deliver clear presentations and demos that communicate the product uniqueness and the problems it solvesManage the technical aspects of the entire sales cycle, including Proof of Concepts / ValueUnderstand and communicate customer needs to the product teams for future product enhancements.Build solutions to fill gaps and enhance the core productKnow the Observability and log management markets well and be able to help customers choose the right solutions for them.Be active on internal and external Slack channelsPresent at conferences, meetups, podcasts, livestreams etc.Go the extra mile to help groundcover disrupt the observability market, by offering thoughts, insights, and suggestions on how we can improve our go to market efforts, and improve the offering.Ability to attend in-person events and meetings - and work in officeRequirements
5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer role – must2+ years of observability experience, with a deep understanding of commercial vendors such as Datadog, Dynatrace, NewRelic, Splunk, Sumologic, Coralogix, and open source tooling such as Elastic, Loki, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.A ‘can do’ and ‘must win’ attitude, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to help build whatever is needed to improve our chances of winning businessStrong understanding of cloud-native environments and modern infrastructure, including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift, and observability data sources like CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Fluentd / FluentBit, and PrometheusProven customer-facing experience – confident, articulate, and able to lead technical conversations both in-person and over ZoomConsultative and analytical, with an ability to identify and solve complete processes and infrastructureWillingness and enthusiasm for frequent travelExperience as a developer - advantageBachelor's degree, or equivalent, in related discipline.
