Tech Lead, Web Core Product & Chrome Extension - Inglewood, USA

Speechify is hiring a Tech Lead for Web Core Product & Chrome Extension. The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechify's text-to-speech products are used by millions, including the iOS app, Android App, Mac App, Chrome Extension, and Web App.

What You'll Do

  • Actively ship production code to the web products
  • Work closely with your dedicated product team
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
  • Have the opportunity to work on new and exciting features that will impact millions of lives

  • Experience : You have built and shipped products that scaled to thousands or millions of users
  • Customer obsession : You are passionate about the field and building high-quality products that serve customer needs
  • Speed : You work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now vs what needs more time
  • Focus : You know how and when to engage or be heads-down in a high-growth, remote environment
  • Collaboration : You can inspire, collaborate with, and negotiate with opinionated designers, marketers, and PMs
  • Tech Stack : Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, Typescript

    • Salary range for this role (USA-based) is 140,000-200,000 USD / year + bonus + stock, depending on experience.
