Responsibilities
As a Senior Sales Underwriter - Inland Marine , you will build and maintain relationships, drive written premium growth, and maintain renewal retention goals while delivering a high degree of customer satisfaction within assigned territory. You'll apply Underwriting, Sales, and Distribution Management skills to manage the overall book of business to achieve profitability goals.

Proficiency assessing intricate risks across various industries utilizing historical data and industry trends to make well-informed decisions devising comprehensive risk management plans.
Engaging appropriate resources and internal and external stakeholders at the appropriate times to deliver the best possible outcome in line with company standards.
Insurance law and regulations, to ensure that policies meet legal requirements, and provides guidance on complex compliance issues.
Account service, account management, cross-selling, business development, marketing strategy and positioning, negotiations, prospecting and qualifying, solution development, and competitive analysis.
Consultative and relationship management skills needed to build strong relationships with agency partners to drive profitable submissions.
