Description
Job Summary
Responsible for the medical & sales education of KLS Martin's employees and customers. Oversees the creation, coordination, and management of educational programs, media and training resources, including surgical courses and professional development events. Ensures all activities align with company standards, compliance requirements, and strategic objectives.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Direct the educational program to meet the Quality System requirements
- Manage the Learning Management System for KLS Martin Group
- Plan and oversee all KLS Martin educational events, including scheduling, budgeting, marketing, vendor and site negotiation, speaker coordination, and meeting content
- Organize, order, handle and ensure the proper and compliant disposal of cadavers used in surgical training and educational courses
- Meet company marketing goals via third party surgeon educational organizations
- Supervise and lead the creation and efficient management of educational resources for the customer and employees, including all media; websites, print, social media, videos, models and animations
- Demonstrate effective Customer Relationship Management, maintaining impartiality and professionalism while supporting positive surgeon and customer relationships
- Collaborate with the Director of Product Management by sharing product insights and recommendations gathered through interactions with employees and customers during educational events
- Ensure all educational materials and events are compliant with Quality Control policies, Corporate Image guidelines and marketing objectives
- Conduct needs assessments with leadership to identify educational opportunities and improve product knowledge and sales training
- Use professional verbal and written communication skills to explain technical information and author marketing storylines and educational content for customers, salespeople, and employees
- Coach and develop others to effectively train employees on the assembly, use, and maintenance / restocking of all products
- Coach and develop others to confidently deliver professional sales presentations
- Provide leadership and represent the field employees in Customer Relationship Management, Sales & Operational Report Management, and Process improvement IT projects.
- Provide technical advice to company leadership on device and application technology to improve the sales cycle, education, and marketing
- Maintain proficiency in the processes to generate and process a Quote, Bill Only, Consignment, and field inventory or customer return RGA
- Maintain proficiency in the ability to Package & Ship products to the office or other field locations
- Retrieval and Interpretation of Documents, Knowledge of the Quality Policy & Safety Program, Report Product Complaints and Adverse Events, Understand and Follow Off-Indication regulations
- Understand KLS Martin Non-Disclosure Agreements and when to execute them
- Understand government regulations and company policy on customer expense related activities
- Submit expenses for reimbursement following the company travel policy
- Develop and maintain an effective team through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, counseling, performance review and termination of direct staff
- Travel as needed to support educational events, training programs and company initiatives
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Educational and Experience Requirements
