Facility Setting : Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Unit

Contract Length : 13 weeks (8 / 25 / 2025 – 11 / 22 / 2025)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 per week

Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend

Holiday Expectations : Work 75% of holidays during contract

Scrub Color : Green, hospital issued

Parking : Free

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience, including LDRP

BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required

Proficient in labor management, circulating cesarean sections, pre-op, PACU, triage, newborn resuscitation, Pitocin and epidural management

Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Ability and willingness to float within region and scope of practice

First-time travel nurses not accepted

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns

Manage labor and delivery processes, including triage and LDRP care

Circulate and assist in cesarean sections; provide PACU care

Perform newborn resuscitation and immediate postnatal care

Administer and manage medications such as Pitocin and epidurals

Document all patient care in Epic EMR system

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses, phlebotomy, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists

Float to other healthcare facilities within the region as needed

Maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction
