TITLE : Barker (Milliken) Site Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Barker Site Coordinator plays a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for youth at the Art & Martie Barker Clubhouse in Milliken. This position oversees daily on-site operations, ensuring daily delivery of programming, while maintaining a positive Club Experience for all members. The Site Coordinator supports the Satellite Site Area Director with on-site supervision of part-time Youth Development Professionals (YDP) when the Area Director is not present. This position fosters strong daily communication with parents / guardians when necessary and works closely with the Area Site Director to ensure Club members feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

SCHEDULE : Part-time, max 30 hours per week
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Youth Development & Member Experience
- Build positive relationships with members and families to ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Ensure the preparation and implementation of high-quality Targeted Programs that have been developed by Senior Leadership, adjusting as necessary for local Clubhouse needs.
- Develop appropriate High Yield Activities, Clubs, and events, in coordination with the Area Director and local YDPs.
- Model and encourage appropriate and expected member behavior and manage in a constructive and developmentally appropriate way.
- Communicate as needed, in a professional manner, with parents / guardians regarding member needs and progress.
Staff Leadership & Club Operations
Support part-time YDP staff to ensure a safe and positive youth-centered environment.Model positive leadership and demonstrate organizations Core values of teamwork, accountability, and trust.Ensure that the Clubhouse is clean, safe, and welcoming for members, families, and visitors each day.Maintain daily agenda, transitions, and program flow as directed by Area Site Director.Community & Member Engagement
Maintain positive connections with parents / guardians and authorized persons for member pickup.Assist Area Director with the development and execution of strategies to recruit and retain members.Support a strong and positive relationship in serving as the organizations onsite liaison with Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation District.Organizational Support
Working with the Area Director, understand the organizations goals and the role and responsibility the Clubhouse has in achieving those goals.Conduct and submit required daily reports as needed, such as Weld Food Bank snack reports, incident reports, and safety reports.Assist with special events or activities as requested by Area Director, which may be in support of the organization overall and outside normal hours.Drive Club vehicles as needed for member transportation.Perform other duties as assigned by Area Director in support of Clubhouse operations.SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED :
2+ years of direct youth development or youth leadership in a community based setting.CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).Valid drivers license and insurable driving record.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Most of the work time associated with this position is conducted on your feet in classroom / gymnasium setting. Must be able to maintain a high energy level and be comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. Be able to work closely with others in a small environment. Ability to lift supplies, materials, and collateral materials weighing up to 35 pounds as needed.
