We're on the lookout for a director of sales committed to helping our busy hotel meet its sales goals. You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. $55,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities :

  • Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses
  • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network
  • Design a strategy to meet hotel financial goals, create marketing deliverables, and develop an annual sales forecast by analyzing market data
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers
  • Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goals

Qualifications :

  • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills
  • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
