Financial Accountant II Lease Team

Join our team as a Financial Accountant II, where you'll play a crucial role in driving financial precision and strategic insights. This position entails managing month-end close activities, journal entries, account analyses, and lease-specific responsibilities, including ASC 842 compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, attention to detail, and a mindset for continuous improvement and collaboration.

What You'll Do :

  • Participate in month-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare quarter-end and year-end audit schedules and conduct trend and variance analyses.
  • Handle lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842, including percentage rent calculations and annual landlord reconciliations.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, providing analytical insights and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop technical skills to enhance efficiency and maintain strong communication with team members.

What We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience; lease accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Workday and Tango Analytics is a plus.
  • Experience in a multi-unit environment is highly desired.

    • Work Location :

  • This role is primarily remote. Candidates must be based in Arizona, as occasional onsite presence at our Scottsdale, AZ (85255) office is required.
  • Full-time position requiring regular attendance and team collaboration.
