About The Position

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

Target ratios on the unit are 1 : 6 to 1 : 7.

Unit will accept contracts for 13 to 26 weeks.

Shift is 12-hour nights, from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15.

RTO is limited to 7 days maximum.

Traveler will work with a centralized resource nursing pool and may float to all medical / surgical floors.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

Contract staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters.

Patient population includes adults and geriatrics in medical-surgical settings.

Unit systems used include electronic health record systems.

Staffing and scheduling will be based on unit needs.

Travelers must adhere to call-off policies that are strongly enforced.

A teamwork approach is essential.

All candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Candidates must float to different units based on skills and hospital needs.

Candidates should have experience in the interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, and management of dysrhythmias.

Two manager / supervisor references from within the past 12 months are preferred.

Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row and / or more than 60 hours in a week.

Modules must be completed pre-start and annually.
