Plant Manager

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations at a yarn manufacturing site. This includes managing production, safety, quality, cost control, and team development while leading a culture of continuous improvement. The role requires strong leadership to direct managers and supervisors, optimize plant performance, and ensure business objectives are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, labor allocation, safety, quality, and cost optimization.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to managers and supervisors, ensuring effective decision-making during both normal and upset conditions.
• Direct plant reporting and performance tracking, identifying deficiencies and driving corrective actions.
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and safety while reducing costs.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and maximum uptime.
• Partner with Human Resources on staffing, talent development, and retention strategies.
• Foster a best-practice culture by implementing process improvements and encouraging innovation.
