Material Handler

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process by ensuring that materials are accurately counted, managed, and distributed. This position supports our inventory management system and is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing lines.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct inbound inspections, unpackaging, purchase order matching, counting, labeling, and accurate put-away of materials.
• Perform daily Kanban replenishment and initiate reorders as needed.
• Pick, stage, and deliver items to production, expediting as required.
• Conduct cycle counts and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas according to the 5S methodology.
• Handle discrepant materials such as RTV, RTS, rework, and scrap.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment including scales, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Assist other departments to ensure material availability.
• Provide backup support for shipping and receiving tasks.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Salem, OR.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
