Senior Market Leader
Felsburg Holt & Ullevig (FHU) is seeking a Senior Market Leader to lead multidisciplinary projects and actively drive business development in Northern Colorado. This is more than a project management role were looking for a leader, connector, strategist, and builder with a strong and respected network in the transportation industry.

Your Role
You will lead projects within your technical discipline which could include transportation planning, design, environmental / NEPA, structural engineering, water resources, traffic engineering, or construction management while simultaneously advancing FHUs presence across all service areas in Northern Colorado. Youll build client relationships, pursue high-impact opportunities, and drive growth across the region.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategic Growth
- Build and execute a regional business development strategy aligned with FHUs goals.
- Leverage your established relationships with public agencies, municipalities, CDOT, and / or private sector clients to generate project leads and secure new work.
- Actively engage in networking events, professional associations, and industry conferences to elevate FHUs visibility.
- Identify and track leads, support go / no-go decisions, and lead proposal strategy and development.
- Coordinate and lead pursuit teams, including premarketing efforts, interviews, scoping and contract negotiations.
- Serve as a mentor to junior staff in client engagement and pursuit strategies.
Project Delivery & Management
Manage the successful delivery of projects in your area of expertise, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met.Collaborate with practice leaders and technical staff across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.Provide strong client service and cultivate long-term partnerships through consistent communication and problem-solving.Lead or contribute to project scoping, budgeting, and QA / QC reviews.Team Leadership & Culture Building
Act as a local ambassador of FHUs mission and values, contributing to a positive and inclusive office culture.Partner with Office Leads and Regional Directors on strategic hires and staff development.Inspire and develop the next generation of leaders by providing guidance and mentorship to emerging project managers and junior staff.
