Overview

Responsibilities

  • Set up and conduct experimental lab work to validate specifications and conceptual designs.
  • Debug and fix mechanical components; design or redesign parts as needed.
  • Work with vendors to fabricate parts to exact specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BS in Mechanical Engineering is stated in the posting).
  • 0 years related work experience (entry level).
  • Solid understanding in some or all of the following areas :

    • Precision mechanical design; optical and opto-mechanical design; mechatronics.

  • Heat transfer, vibrations, fluid dynamics and manufacturing processes.
  • Primary responsibilities include experimental work, debugging, design / redesign of components, and collaboration with vendors.

    • Compensation & Location

    Base Pay Range : $57,700.00 - $98,100.00

    Primary Location : USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA
