Director of Data Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering to lead and scale their data platform organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and scale two squads focused on core data infrastructure and Unified Event Tracking

Drive execution and completion of Data Platform V2.0 and ensure system reliability and performance

Oversee the Unified Event Tracking framework to deliver a standardized system for event collection

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

15+ years of experience in software or data engineering with expertise in distributed systems

10+ years of engineering leadership experience managing multiple teams

Proven success in leading large-scale data platform and event tracking initiatives

Strong technical command of SQL and Python, with experience in Databricks and related technologies
