Job descriptionUtilize copy template, instructions, and PrintNet T software to develop order workflow documents. Analyze and interpret instructions to develop programming logic. Check workflow document logic using selectable driven default file. Verify. Setup and verify imaging is in compliance with the press, production, device, and postal specifications and tolerances. This includes setup for Test Mode and Quality Check records. Create files, paperwork, and reports for Production, Sales, and Verification. Generate and verify Customer requested Signoff files. Customer modifications and proof-back changes. Support and work with Production for resolutions to pressing imaging problems. Responsible for cross-functional tasks and communicating with other team members as required to process orders. An Associates Degree in Computer Science or Imaging Technology or the equivalent in education and / or work experience desired. Experience programming with Inspire Designer is preferred. Knowledge of data processing, print technologies, production processes, workflow process are required. High communication skills both written and oral. Excellent understanding of design and typography and the process of creating a publication through all its phases from concept through printing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Excellent knowledge of printing techniques and knowledge of production issues. Excellent skill in operation of cutting edge technology to provide clients with effective creative products and image files. Able to understand client requirements and solve highly technical design problems and meet expectations while remaining within budget for creative assignments. The PREMEDIA TECH 3 SPECIALIST is responsible for analysis, program design, coding and testing of format program according to customer submitted specifications. This position works directly with other team members to ensure quality control standards are being followed and customer objectives are met. High standards of quality control procedures must be strictly adhered to.
