About the Role
As a Junior Accountant at Olea, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Finance team by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of transactions across accounts payable, billing, and general accounting. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and has a passion for keeping financial operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Review and process vendor invoices, matching them to purchase orders and receipts.
- Prepare, track, and reconcile vendor payments including checks, wires, and ACH transfers.
- Handle employee expense reimbursements and credit card reconciliations.
- Create and process customer invoices, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and resolve outstanding customer balances and discrepancies.
- Reconcile cash-related balance sheet accounts and monthly bank statements.
- Assist with month-end closings and financial audits.
- Maintain accurate records and support documentation in line with company policy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support record retention and compliance efforts.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturingProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems (e.g., Abas)Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable working independently and collaborativelyAble to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentBenefits
