Job description

About the Role :

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and identify opportunities for business expansion in alignment with our vendor sales strategy. You will play a crucial role in developing and nurturing business relationships by providing tailored solutions for defined accounts within a product line, helping us achieve our strategic and financial objectives.

What You'll Do :

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for brand products, technology solutions, and offerings for assigned customers, ensuring accessibility and understanding for all.
  • Execute strategic customer growth plans and foster business relationships in assigned accounts by delivering value-added solutions. Identify and create demand for products while coordinating seminars, training, and resource awareness to support growth in targeted accounts.
  • Analyze and report on the impact of various programs for assigned vendors, communicating successes, challenges, and future growth strategies to the Partner Account Manager (PAM).
  • Stay informed about product trends, competitors, technology, and customer needs in the assigned supplier product market, while cultivating strong relationships with field suppliers.
  • Actively seek to recruit new resellers for identified vendor lines, embracing diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to accelerate revenue growth for both vendors and resellers.

  • A goal-oriented sales professional motivated to drive assigned product lines, recruit new resellers, and support the onboarding of new vendors.
  • An eagerness to learn about the organization's entire product and service line, with a focus on inclusivity.
  • Experience working with small to mid-size accounts of varying complexity.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, while being adaptable to change.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with vendors and customers to broaden our customer base and increase sales.
  • A passion for meeting or exceeding sales targets for assigned vendor lines, with a focus on equitable opportunities for all partners.
  • Experience developing partner relationships through both virtual and face-to-face meetings, valuing diverse communication styles.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business growth, including partner visits and events.
  • Work Experience :

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on fostering inclusive environments.
  • Education and Certification(s) :

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience that provides comparable knowledge and job skills.
