Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a Program Management Manager for our Miami, FL office. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Construction Program Manager to oversee and manage construction projects at an active airport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly within the aviation industry, and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.

This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following :

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all construction activities at the airport, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and airport staff to ensure project requirements are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Manage contracts and negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with FAA regulations and other relevant standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
