Job Description
The responsibility of the Stubli Project Management and Process Improvement Specialist is leading project management initiatives while championing continuous improvement to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and business process improvement methodologies.
Reports to : Manager of Quality, Operational Excellence & PMO
Responsibilities and Objectives :
- Project Planning & Execution : Plan, execute, and finalize projects against strict deadlines and within budget by coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Scope & Goals Definition : Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Communication & Documentation : Develop full-scale project plans and communication documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner. Implement and maintain project management best practices and establish standards for project documentation.
- Leadership & Guidance : Steer and provide guidance to ensure alignment within regional project divisions. Train and guide team members on project management and process improvement tools and techniques.
- Continuous Improvement : Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and leading initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Process Analysis : Analyze current indirect processes to identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions for improvement, and empower process owners.
- Workshop Coordination : Conduct internal workshops between local departments, divisions, and other Stubli locations to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor and communicate the performance of projects and process improvement activities using analytics during project reviews.
- Quality Support : Assist other quality-related functions, including root cause analysis, management of non-conformances, and reporting.
- Other Duties : Perform all other relevant duties as required to support the team and organization.
- Adheres to all safety, quality and environmental standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business / International Business, Engineering and / or + 3 or more years' experience in project management in a complex business and / or manufacturing environment (automotive industry preferred)Strong understanding of continual improvement principles and methodologies, with a track record of implementing these concepts to improve business performanceKnowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and / or Six Sigma MethodologyPreferred experience working with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 14001 and / or IATF 16949)Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlinesExperience with project management software and toolsHighly efficient in time management and can prioritize tasks effectivelyWillingness and ability to travel as required (domestic and international) to meet with other Stubli locations, suppliers and customersAdditional Information
