With responsibility for a $20M operating budget (FY25), $15M in open capital project budgets, and a team of 60+ full-time employees (FTEs), this role is critical in advancing patient safety, operational efficiency, and the clinician and patient experience. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Vice President will lead the implementation and optimization of Epic solutions, including the conversion to Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Epic for adult care and Boston Children's Hospital (BCH) Epic for pediatrics, while managing relationships with regional campus partners. The Vice President will serve as a key leader in stakeholder and vendor engagement, addressing Dana-Farber's most pressing challenges, including patient access, referrals, and equity. With a strong emphasis on change management and organizational readiness, this role will ensure that technology solutions complement and enhance patient treatment and experience. This position demands exceptional communication skills, a commitment to transparency and authenticity, and a focus on fostering continuous learning and skill development for both the team and the leader. Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. We are united in our mission of conquering cancer, HIV / AIDS and related diseases. We strive to create an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment where we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all backgrounds, and design programs to promote public health particularly among high-risk and underserved populations.
