Systems Engineer

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Position Responsibilities :

• Evaluate customer / operational needs to define system performance requirements
• Assist in the development of the system architecture
• Document design elements
• Document interface control documents
• Ensure traceability between requirements and design elements
• Allocate requirements to sub-system teams
• Coordinate efforts and interfaces between multiple engineering disciplines
• Understand, support, and apply agile principles, practices, and processes
• Listen and support teams in problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision making
• Participate in peer reviews of requirements, architecture and designs
• Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities

This position requires an active DOD Secret (or higher) U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
