Senior HVAC / Refrigeration Design Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC / Refrigeration Design Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in Woburn, MA. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to optimize system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of HVAC and refrigeration systems from concept to completion.
• Conduct load calculations and equipment selection to ensure efficient and effective system performance.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed design drawings and specifications for HVAC systems.
• Analyze system performance and implement energy-efficient solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Stay updated on codes and standards, including ASHRAE guidelines, to ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
