Job Description

This position involves providing care to higher acuity neuroscience patients in a stepdown unit. The neuro stepdown unit includes a total of 31 beds, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 3 for stepdown and 1 : 5-6 for the EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit). Responsibilities will include managing TPA patients and other stroke-related care, with a preference for candidates with experience in managing external ventricular drains (EVDs) and other neuro-related conditions.
