Part of the FEMA Public Assistance Program Under Prime Contractor Fluor Government Group. This position has very specific requirements. Please read them carefully.
Part of the Fluor Public Assistance Program, the Construction Manager facilitates and coordinates the effective, efficient, and accurate delivery of grant funding.
Construction Managers will assist local government agencies in the preparation of grant application for a variety of damaged public infrastructure to include roads, bridges, buildings and utilitiesConstruction Managers will write complex Project Worksheets (PWs) to determine project eligibility, scopes of work and estimating cost to repair or replace a facility / structure to restore it to its pre-disaster designInsure compliance with FEMA Public Assistance policy and procedurePayment is contingent upon client, deployment type and locationRequirements
Second Level – Educational requirements are an undergraduate degree with 5 years in a documented construction manager role involving commercial claims or governmental insurance OR 10 years in above field of expertise
Third Level - Educational requirements are an undergraduate degree with 10 years in a documented construction manager role involving commercial claims or government insurance OR 15 years in above field of expertise
