A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.

Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support.

Scrubs of any color are acceptable, provided they are logo-free.

Calls or floating may be required.

Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

The daily census is approximately 10 patients.

The unit consists of 16 beds.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and respiratory services.

Skills required include arterial line management and assistance with chest tube insertion and removal.

The candidate must be proficient in the management of critically ill patients, including those on ventilators.

Additional skills include blood product administration and interpretation of arterial blood gases.

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in managing patients with multiple organ dysfunction and dysrhythmias.
