Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 11 : 00 AM to 11 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • 36 guaranteed hours per week

    • \n

  • Every other weekend and holiday requirement

    • \n

  • Patient ratios of 4 : 1 to 5 : 1

    • \n

  • 2 to 5 years Emergency Department / Critical Care experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NISHH

    • \n

  • Education modules required through education department

    • \n

  • No call requirements

    • \n

  • No float requirements

    • \n

  • Use EPIC EMR system

    • \n

  • Work with standard emergency care equipment

    • \n

  • Dress code requires solid color scrubs with professional attire

    • \n

  • Care for emergency department patients including behavioral health cases

    • \n

  • Work in team-based environment requiring flexibility and excellent communication skills

    • \n

  • Must adapt to workflow changes due to ongoing construction

    This healthcare facility features a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center with an emergency department currently undergoing expansion construction. The facility will have 20 beds plus 3 behavioral health beds within a locked unit and 2 triage rooms when construction is complete. The emergency department includes 3 behavioral health unit beds within a locked space and 3 medical / psychiatric swing beds, with an inpatient psychiatric unit also available. The organization emphasizes a team-based approach to patient care and maintains high standards for emergency medical services.
