Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (6 : 45pm – 7 : 15am)

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 24, 2025

Dress Code : Royal blue scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1350 - $1450

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi or compact state

BLS and ACLS certifications required

PALS certification (can be obtained within first 3 weeks of arrival)

Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility (travel nursing requirement)

Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit or acute care nursing experience

Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

PCU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Monitor, assess, and document patient status and clinical progress

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and health management

Float to other nursing units as needed based on facility requirements
