Schedule : PRN / Per Diem; As needed shifts for coverage
Shift : 12 hour shifts - Day or Night scheduling option available, w / weekend and holiday rotations
Location : AdventHealth Hospitals
The community you'll be caring for : UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Regional Support - Will provide coverage for all 4 hospital sites as assigned (Bolingbrook, Hinsdale, Glen Oaks and La Grange)
The role you'll contribute :
- Performs basic and advanced validated clinical and non-clinical patient care activities as delegated by supervising nurse in assigned area
- Aids with movement and placement of patients.
- Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
- Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.
- Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment
The value you'll bring to the team :
Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 or more years of current direct patient care experience as a CNA and / or PCT needed LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED : Certified Patient Care Technician / Assistant (CPCT / A) [Required] OR Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Required] This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
