Join a dedicated team providing 24 / 7 crisis stabilization services to adults and youth experiencing mental health emergencies in the Midwest region. This role focuses on delivering intensive, goal-oriented support to individuals in crisis, aiming to reduce hospital admissions and law enforcement involvement while promoting successful community reintegration.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer compassionate crisis stabilization and support at a residential facility.
- Engage positively with clients, monitoring and documenting their treatment progress, behaviors, and activities.
- Assist clients with daily living activities and medication compliance.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques during intense situations to ensure safety.
- Collaborate with clinical and community partners to support clients' treatment goals and community tenure.
- Complete all required documentation, training, and competency reviews promptly and accurately.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Preferred : Two or more years of professional experience in mental health services, crisis response, or related fields.Experience educating clients on self-care and improving daily living skills is a plus.Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old.Computer proficiency is necessary.Pass background checks including child and adult abuse registries and motor vehicle screening.Complete CPR, First Aid, and other required trainings within 60 days of employment.Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation required.Behavioral Skills
