WFLA News Channel 8 is looking for a do-it-all producer to be a key member of our highly-specialized Stream Center team. The Stream Center Producer is tasked with a variety of duties including producing, directing, editing, and posting of video content. The role will help manage CTV video distribution and programming for our 24 / 7 streaming app.
Responsibilities :
- Producing, directing, editing, and posting of Stream Center video content via OBS Studio
- Assist in CTV video distribution, including live-hosted video in both unedited and breaking news formats
- Help gather information, b-roll, and visual elements for a successful OBS stream
- Interest in / willingness to learn and understand successful IT and engineering setups for livestreaming
- Desire to experiment and innovate in an evolving digital space while maintaining professionalism and journalistic principles
- Basic understanding of camera settings, studio lighting, and audio processing
