Clinical Nurse II : Critical Care Float Pool - Days Shift

Join our dynamic Critical Care Float Pool team today! This role provides a fantastic opportunity to enhance and apply your critical care skills across various specialties, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and MSICU.

As a Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool, you will also have the chance to acquire additional competencies in Emergency Department care and neuro-progressive care areas. Become an integral part of the Region's only Level I trauma center, where you'll work with a highly skilled nursing team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders and administer medications.
• Start IVs, administer treatments, and perform special tests, documenting procedures as required by policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions efficiently.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in care management.
• Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with nursing teams to create comprehensive Care Plans for all patients.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards at all times.
