Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company, is seeking an EHS Specialist to join their team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be part of the Operations / Plant Leadership department supporting Production and Maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and collaborative leadership which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : EHS Specialist (Health, Safety & Environmental)

Location : Seville, OH (On-site)

Pay Range : $65,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience

What’s the Job?

  • Manage and continuously improve site HSE systems to meet regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
  • Ensure timely completion, documentation, and tracking of safety training for all site personnel.
  • Lead incident investigations, report occupational incidents promptly, and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce injuries.
  • Represent the site in corporate HSE networks, communicate updates, and implement company safety initiatives across the plant.
  • Monitor contractors and capital projects for OSHA and environmental compliance; complete routine safety checks (eyewash, showers) and analyze HSE KPIs to identify and execute improvements.

What’s Needed?

  • 2–3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead investigations, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
  • Proven experience coordinating training and maintaining compliant documentation and reporting.
  • Strong collaboration skills with plant leadership, production, and maintenance teams; effective written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred : experience with environmental permits / reporting and wellness or ergonomic initiatives.
