About The Position

• Ability to read telemetry strips
• Experience with cardiac telemetry
• Knowledge of cardiac drips
• Proficient in interpreting telemetry strips
• Experience with TR bands and high-flow oxygen

Description :

The position is for a Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse on a 41-bed unit.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Travelers are expected to float to applicable units when needed.

Rotating shifts are required for day positions; however, this position is for straight nights.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 to 4 / 5 during the day and 1 to 5 / 6 during evenings and nights.

The patient population includes individuals with cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorders, and gastrointestinal needs.

The EMR (charting system) used is EPIC.
