Essential Job Functions
Evaluates the efficiency of current and new programs and implements program changes.
Gathers, compiles, reviews, and analyzes data for performance metrics analysis for the Building and Equipment Service Department.
Monitors current and new programs for efficiencies and effectiveness based on performance metrics data.
Review output reports from the fleet management system and analyze for patterns and trends to make recommendations for improvements.
Conduct a comparative analysis on the cost of providing services and compare to peer cities.
Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes functional and technical needs and requirements.
Analyzes and interprets data to inform strategic decision-making.
Develops strategic plans that align with department goals and objectives.
Assists in the preparation of the annual departmental or divisional budget.
Prepares written reports, summaries, and presentations on program status, progress, and results.
Develops and presents detailed business cases, process models, and system workflows.
Works to ensure coordination between divisions within the department.
Oversees the implementation and integration of new systems and technologies.
Monitors project progress, identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies.
Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Two (2) years of business or project analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Class "C" Driver's License
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications
Experience performing time studies and process improvement analysis.
One (1) year of experience in a fleet shop environment.
Experience with Excel spreadsheet documentation and managing databases.
Knowledge and experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
One (1) year of performance benchmarking experience.
Applicant Information
Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
