Responsibilities Position is in the Med / Surg Tele unit of a hospital Night shifts from 18 : 30 to 07 : 00, working three 12-hour shifts per week Patients are cared for on a 1 : 7 nurse-to-patient ratio Work schedule includes every other weekend No on-call required Floating to other units as needed Participation in nursing student support and clinical education is expected A general orientation is provided, beginning on Sundays, with modules and electronic transcripts Fit testing requires facial hair to be trimmed or removed to meet CDC guidelines Candidates must commit to pre-employment drug testing within 12-14 days prior to start and may need to return for retesting if necessary Holiday coverage may be required based on schedule and staffing needs Requirements Active TN or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of Med / Surg Tele experience required Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must live at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted First time travelers accepted Previous charge experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618503.
