With 152 licensed beds and a talented staff of more than 500 employees, we handle over 31,000 Emergency Department visits annually. Our skilled medical team includes over 160 physicians along with 21 resident physicians training in Family and Internal Medicine, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients. We offer 24 / 7 emergency services, general surgery, medical stabilization for substance abuse, behavioral health for adults over 55, and the only cardiac rehabilitation program in Columbiana County.

Position Overview :

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a key player in delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) to address the needs of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities :

• Provide direct patient care, administering medications and monitoring vital signs while assisting with daily living activities within the LPN scope of practice.
• Perform indirect patient care tasks, including maintaining documentation, coordinating care, and supporting patient education efforts.
• Observe and relay patient status and changes to the supervising RN effectively.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Assist the RN in implementing and evaluating personalized patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with all parties to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications :

1. Current and valid state license

2. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.

3. IV certification upon hire (as per state requirements).
