About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years in ICU

License : Active Registered Nurse license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale

Must-Have : Experience recovering open heart surgery patients

Description :

Candidates are required to have experience in Cardiac Thoracic ICU.

Teaching facility experience is preferred.

Prior travel experience is required.

Eligible candidates must have the ability to recover open heart surgery patients.

Knowledge of managing all open-heart patients and thoracic cases is essential.

Skills in the use of ECMO, Impella, LVAD, IABP, CRRT, MIs, and CHF management are necessary.

Familiarity with vital signs machines, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote telemetry, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps, and oxygen delivery devices is required.

Vaccination for COVID and FLU or declination is required.

Candidates should be prepared to work in a teaching hospital environment and engage with students and new hires.

All requests for time off must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance.

The facility reserves the right to cancel shifts based on census.
