Job Description

A Santa Ana, California based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner  to join an interdisciplinary team in Costa Mesa, at a community health center. An ideal candidate has at least a year of experience, should practice excellent, evidence-based patient care, and should be comfortable treating all ages.

Required Qualifications

  • CA NP or PA license
  • CA DEA certificate before start date
  • CA driver’s license in good standing
  • CPR certification
  • Board certified in field
  • Family Medicine experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent or proficient in Medical Spanish
  • Proficiency with OB care
  • Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Complete annual wellness exams in office and occasional home visits
  • Perform therapeutic procedures with prioritizing preventative care
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
