About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Profession : Allied

Specialty : Radiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year of CT experience

License : ARRT-CT

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

• IV start skills
• Quick-paced working ability with heavy volume of inpatient / outpatient patients
• Experience administering contrast material through peripheral IVs and power ports / PICCs
• Experience with pediatric, ICU, and trauma patients
• Excellent communication skills

Description :

The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves both adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient care.

Common diagnoses include cardiac issues, strokes, bowel ischemia, and cancer evaluations.

The technologist will perform routine scans and handle drains, lines, and tubes.

Clienttion safety is paramount in this role.

The technologist will facilitate workflow within the department.

Call rotations will be part of the scheduling requirements.

Holiday work is expected during the assignment.

The position requires teamwork and effective communication skills.

Experience with cardiac cases is preferred but not mandatory.

Knowledge of various imaging equipment is a plus.
