Business Development Representative - Healthcare (REMOTE W / TRAVEL)

Provo Canyon School, located in Springville, UT, has a proud history of quality services and successful treatment outcomes. For more than 45 years, we have built a reputation for clinical excellence in serving students and their families in an environment of individual care. Our dedicated team strives to change the lives of adolescent boys between the ages of 13 and 18 by providing compassionate, skills-based care that is personalized to meet each student's specific needs. We offer evidence-based treatment and services to children and adolescents who struggle from complex emotional and mental health conditions.

Type : Full-time salaried exempt position

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000 year based on education and experience

Your Key Position Goals & Objectives :

  • Responsible for the management, development and growth of referral sources in an identified regional territory
  • Develop, execute and evaluate strategies and activities of marketing plan
  • Identify potential referral and funding resources
  • Manage all travel activities (75% travel required weekly)
  • Efficient use of remote work environment
  • Use COS skills

    • Your skills and experience will include :

  • Education : B.S. Degree in Marketing / Business Administration, or a related field REQUIRED, MS Marketing / Business Administration PREFERRED
  • Experience : Five years' experience preferred in a related behavioral health field
  • Experience with Managed Healthcare organizations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of operating independently, effectively and self-motivated
  • Able to analyze, plan and follow-through for maximum effectiveness
  • Experience in developing new territories in target markets
  • Ability to close sales and achieve assigned objectives
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse terminology
  • Experience in customer service in the health care field preferred
  • Working courteously with the public and with individuals within the school
  • License : Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record
