About the Construction Management Bureau
The Construction Management Bureau (CMB) is part of SFPUC's Infrastructure Division, delivering construction phase services for the agency’s Capital Improvement Programs. CMB provides construction standards, safety performance, and defines roles, responsibilities, policies and procedures. The Bureau includes engineers, inspectors, safety professionals, construction professionals, contract administration experts and administrative professionals.
About the Position
Under the direction of the Manager of CMB, the Construction and Professional Services Contracting Manager plans, manages, assigns, and directs activities of multiple cross-disciplined groups supporting Contract Administration. This role serves as Liaison for dispute resolution and partnering facilitation on SFPUC construction projects, oversees Construction Photography and Archiving services, and manages the Spot Sewer Replacement & Repair Program team.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; AND
Experience : Five (5) years of verifiable professional experience in developing, procuring, managing, and administering construction and / or professional services contracts, of which three (3) years must include experience supervising professionals.
Substitution : Additional experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis up to two (2) years; 30 semester units / 45 quarter units equals one (1) year of experience.
Note : One year of full-time employment is equivalent to 2000 hours (based on a 40-hour work week).
